Graam Bangla has proudly served the Brick Lane community for more than 25 years. Established during the rise of Brick Lane as one of London's most recognised cultural and food destinations, the restaurant was founded with a simple vision: to serve authentic Bangladeshi food prepared the way it is enjoyed at home.
The name "Graam Bangla" reflects the spirit of village Bangladesh, where food is deeply connected to family, togetherness, and tradition. Inspired by recipes passed through generations, our kitchen focuses on flavour, comfort, and authenticity rather than overly commercialised curry house cooking.
Over the years, Graam Bangla has welcomed families, local residents, international visitors, and food lovers from across the world. Today, we continue to celebrate Bengali heritage through traditional dishes, warm hospitality, and honest home-style cooking.
Every dish we serve reflects these values. From the first bite to the last, our commitment to quality, authenticity, and warmth is present in everything we prepare.
Graam Bangla has been privileged to welcome members of the Royal Family — a recognition of the authenticity and excellence that has defined our restaurant for over 25 years.
